The excursion starts at 8 am from your hotel in Quito. Meet your guide and board a vehicle heading south of Quito and towards Cotopaxi National Park.
Arrival to Cotopaxi National Park and visit to the Interpretation Center and Limpiopungo Lagoon.
Short hike to Padre Rivera Refuge and if you wish also to the glacier at 5050m.
Visit to an indigenous local house from the Paramo.
Visit to Tigua, a small Andean town well known for its naive painting.
Continue up to Quilotoa Volcano and descend to Quilotoa Lagoon.
Trip to Baños a picturesque valley plenty of waterfalls, we will go to Pailón del Diablo, Manto and Novia.
Depart to Alausí. Time to take the spectacular train, The Devil’s Nose train, considered the most difficult train of the XX century.
Transfer to the airport to board the international flight or your hotel in Quito.
