Lima – Paracas – Nazca – Colca – Puno – Cusco & Machu Picchu

Welcome to Peru! Arrival to Lima´s airport.

Transfer to the bus station to board the regular bus to Paracas (4 hours trip).

Early morning excursion to the Ballestas Islands, the habitat of a great variety of marine fauna such as the Humboldt Penguin, pelican, pikemen, flamingos, dolphins and sea lions. Travel to to Nazca.

Fly to the enigmatic Nazca Lines. This enormous set of geoglyphs has a network of lines and drawings of figures of animals and plants attributed to the Nazca culture that cover an area of approximately 350 km2.

Transfer to the bus station to board the regular service bus back to the city of Arequipa.

In the morning, you will be met at your hotel and taken on an incredible four hour journey to Chivay. You will enjoy astonishing landscapes as the Pampa Cañahuas Reserve, glaciers and some magnificent volcanoes, such as Ampato, Sabancaya, Huallca and Misti.

Enjoy the hot thermal springs of La Calera.

Tour of Colca Canyon. Along the way, we will make a few stops in small Andean villages. We will travel along the canyon until we get to “Mirador Cruz del Condor” and “Mirador de Tapay”.

Visit to the floating island of Los Uros, a set of 20 islands formed on the basis of totora. In the afternoon, we will visit Sillustani Chullpas, it´s one of the largest archeological areas in America.

Transfer to the bus station to board the tourist bus to Cuzco. On the way we will visit the Kalasaya Archaeological Complex and Raqchi Archaeological Center known as the “Temple of God Wiracocha”. Later on, we will go San Pedro de Andahuaylillas Church.

Cuzco City Tour where you will visit The Cathedral, Koricancha “Temple of the Sun” and the nearby ruins: Qenqo, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay and Sacsayhuaman Fortress.

Visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, to the textile center Awanacancha and town of Pisac, here we will visit a picturesque craft market.

Later we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo where we will visit the fortress that bears the same name. Returning to Cuzco, we will visit the town of Chinchero and its small chapel.

The highlight of our trip! visit to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Very early we will depart from Ollanta train station towards the majestic city of Aguas Calientes and later on, we will board the buses to ascend to the Historic Sanctuary, one of the 7 wonders of the world.
