Itinerary at glance
Download full itineraryFlight Quito – Coca (30 min). Embark on a comfortable motorboat and ride along the Napo River for about 2 hours. Enjoy a box lunch. Arrival at Napo Wildlife Center, short break, and 2 hours canoe ride towards the Lodge.
Wake up for an early breakfast and an early start to reach the most accessible parrot clay licks in Ecuador.
Visit the Kichwa Community of Añangu and share time with a family and share with them some activities.
Hike through Terra Firme Forest for about 30 minutes until we arrive at the second parrot clay lick. Return to the lodge and enjoy a delicious dinner.
Visit a 36m tall canopy tower, where we will get a whole view of the rainforest. Blue and yellow macaws will fly close to you, also two species of large toucans.
Lunch at the Lodge. Hike in the primary forest where you can see lizards, manakins, and tamarin monkeys.
Your last day will entail an early departure and final 2-hour excursion canoeing back to the Napo River.
The creek may reveal new sights of giant otters, monk Saki monkeys, and rare birds.
Transfer to Coca, 2-hour boat ride. Coca – Quito flight.
